The JAAA Golden Cleats Selection Committee chairman, Dr. Bernard Panton announced the nominees for the 2014 Scotiabank/JAAA Golden Cleats Awards. They are:
Males - Kemar Bailey-Cole, Rasheed Dwyer, Hansel Parchment, O'Dayne Richards & Andrew Riley.
Females - Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Stephanie Ann McPherson, Kaliese Spencer, Kimberly Williams & Novlene Williams-Mills.
Coaches - Fitzalbert Coleman, Stephen Francis, Glen Mills, Lynval Swaby & Maurice Wilson.
The winners will be announced at the Annual Scotiabank/JAAA Golden Cleats Awards on Friday, December 12 at the Terra Nova All Suite Hotel. The Howard Aris Scholarships for the top young male and female athletes will also be awarded.
The other members of the Selection Committee are: Earl Bailey, Juliet Cuthbert-Flynn, Anthony Foster, Deon Hemmings-McCatty, Hubert Lawrence & Donald Quarrie.
